A 3-days residential TOT on Infant and Young Child Feeding

A 3-days residential TOT on Infant and Young Child Feeding was organized by the State Center of Excellence for Nutrition Interventions, Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS Raipur, between 17th to 19th January. Participants included Staff Nurses from District Hospitals of the state, students from Nursing college and School of Public Health, AIIMS Raipur. Participants were given hands-on training in the wards and IYCF Skill Lab to translate their classroom learning into practice. Such training is expected to carve ways towards improving the breastfeeding and complementary feeding practices in the state. These trained participants will act as Master trainers and propagate further training in their respective districts.
