A 3-days residential TOT on Infant and Young Child Feeding was organized by the State Center of Excellence for Nutrition Interventions, Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS Raipur, between 27th to 29th May 2024. Primary participants included Staff Nurses of Special Newborn Care Units (SNCU) from the District Hospitals of Chhattisgarh. During the 3 days training, lectures and hands on sessions were conducted. Practical sessions were taken in the PNC wards, NRC, SNCU, IYCF Skill Lab & SMART Unit. Participants who attended this TOT will support training to be held in their respective districts under the MAA program. Such capacity building exercises are expected to carve ways towards improving the breastfeeding and complementary feeding practices in the state
