On October 10, 2024, College of Nursing, AIIMS Raipur, observed World Mental Health Day with a program aimed at raising awareness and fostering dialogue around mental health issues at work place.
Theme: Its Time to Prioritize Mental Health at the Workplace
Participants: M.Sc. Nursing 1st year, 2nd year and B.Sc., Nursing 3rd year
Audience: Teaching faculties and non teaching staff, B.Sc. Nursing 3rd year, B.Sc. Nursing 4th year and general public available at Dome AIIMS Raipur

An Informative exhibition on mental health in the workplace: This exhibition aimed to educate the general public about the significance of prioritizing mental health in professional settings, as well as providing practical strategies for its management. The displays featured various aspects of mental health, including coping mechanisms, stress management techniques, and resources for seeking help
Debate on “Mental health is Individual responsibility or not” : The debate not only heightened awareness but also cultivated a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health issues. The Moderator of the debate was Dr.Binu Mathew Principal cum Professor and Dr.J.Jeayareka Assistant Professor.
Role play on prioritizing mental health at work : B.Sc. Nursing 3rd-year students, focusing on the theme of prioritizing mental health in the workplace, the role play was an effective means of bringing attention to the importance of placing mental health first at work and showing how teamwork can result in a more accepting and understanding workplace for everybody
